The Instructors

The Club does rely on volunteers and has done since the start in the 70’s.

Currently,

BOB MATHERS:  Bob passed away on Wednesday 14th November.  He had been our senior instructor for over 20 years.  His knowledge was  vast within the lifesaving circles. His name will still remain on this page….a wonderful, cheerful man who will be sorely missed…..

ALISTAIR JARDINE: Alistair has come on board to assist us in improving the Club. His knowledge and experience is vast and will be very valuable within the Club. As a full time Pool Supervisor with South Ayrshire Council and involved in Lifesaving for many many years, he holds RLSS NTA’s status the most senior trainer in Pool Lifeguarding / AED / PXB and the following Lifesaving Awards, Lifesaving Trainer Assessor, Survive & Save Instructor Tutor, Rookie Instructor, AED T/A, Lifesaving Young Leader Tutor & Open Water Lifeguard

Alistair also sits on the RLSS Scotland West Branch Management Committee and holds Honours from RLSS

BRYAN ALLEN: Bryan who is in charge of the website, admin within the Club and is one of the Swimming Coaches for South Ayrshire Swim Team, Rookie Lifeguard & Lifesaving Instructor.
